Dear Parent/Guardian of the Juniata Family:
 
It is with great pride and excitement that I write this letter of introduction to you as the newly appointed principal of Juniata Elementary School. My background includes fifteen years of educational experience spanning grades K-12 with a vast educational background working as the role of teacher to administrator. My proudest moment was earning my Doctorate of Special Education from Slippery Rock University.  I hope to be able to pass my own love for learning on to the amazing students of Juniata Elementary School!
 
I am ecstatic to be named the principal of such an inside and out-beautiful school.  One of my goals is to work with you as a partner in education to ensure your child’s success. Along with staff, I will work hard to continue the legacy of success of the footprints Mrs. Smith left at Juniata Elementary by building strong relationships with parents, students, staff, and community partners. 
 
I truly believe that parents, teachers, staff, and administration all have a crucial role to encourage our children to become engaged learners. It is my sincere desire to provide opportunities for our learners to acquire the skills to become tomorrow’s leaders!
 
I look forward to a successful year as my team and I support the academic, social, and emotional growth of your child at Juniata Elementary School.  My door is always open and I welcome your input to discuss any highlights, suggestions, or ideas to help make this the best year yet!  I look forward to working with you and your child.
