Friday nights are back under the lights! As we prepare for another exciting season of Beaver Football at E.J. Mansell Stadium, DuBois Area School District has implemented several new guidelines and improvements designed to make Game Night safer, more organized, and enjoyable for our students, athletes, families, and community.
We ask all fans to review the following information before heading to the stadium. A little preparation will help everyone get where they need to go and allow us to focus on what Friday nights are really about — our students, our athletes, and Beaver Pride!
🚗Traffic Flow & Parking
MAIN ENTRANCE — Liberty Boulevard
The main entrance off Liberty Boulevard is for PARKING ONLY. There will be no through traffic at this entrance.
STUDENT DROP-OFF — Beaver Drive
Student drop-off will take place at the Beaver Drive entrance, utilizing the bus lane for student drop-off. Traffic will continue through the designated route and exit the area.
BUSES
DASD and visiting school buses will use the Middle School back dock road toward the maintence building and will remain in that area for the duration of the game. Buses will exit toward Hoover Avenue.
SIGNAGE
New A-frame signs and directional signage have been added at entrances throughout the area to help guide drivers, students, and visitors.
🎟️ Stadium Entrances
MAIN GATE
The Main Gate will be used for General Admission and students in Grades K–8.
9th–12th GRADE GATE
A newly created entrance is located near the Band Concession Stand, closest to the Martin's side. This gate is designated for students in Grades 9–12.
👨👩👧 Student Requirements
The safety of our students is a shared responsibility.
- Grades K–7: Students must be accompanied by an adult, and the adult must remain inside the stadium for the duration of the student's attendance.
- Grade 8 and above: Students may enter the stadium without an accompanying adult.
These requirements are in place to help ensure that students are properly supervised and that Game Night remains a safe and positive experience for everyone.
⏰ Gates Open at 6:00 p.m.
Fans will not be permitted to enter the stadium or save seats before 6:00 p.m. This policy will be enforced to ensure an orderly and fair entry process for everyone.
🅿️ Reserved Parking
Reserved parking behind Mansell Stadium is available by permit/prior authorization only.
A ticket or permit is required, and Event Staff will be present to monitor the reserved parking area.
Vehicles will not be permitted in this area to drop off students or fans.
📍 Know the Map
A Game Night traffic and stadium map has been created to help everyone navigate the new traffic patterns, entrances, parking areas, and drop-off locations.
Stadium Expectations
The DuBois Area School District asks all spectators to help maintain a positive and safe environment.
RESPECT THE TRADITION. RESPECT THE GAME. RESPECT EACH OTHER.
Stadium Rules:
- Please be courteous and respectful and refrain from behavior that interferes with others’ ability to enjoy the game.
- No spectators are permitted on the field at any time unless authorized by school personnel.
- Do not lean on stair railings or fences. Please keep walkways clear for passage.
- Children in Grade 7 and below must be accompanied and supervised by an adult.
- Code of Conduct violations by DASD students will be reported to district administration for appropriate disciplinary action.
- Students are not permitted on the top three rows of the stadium.
- Students are not permitted to play pick-up games around the stadium.
- Students are not permitted to gather at the concession stands.
- Bags are discouraged. No student backpacks are permitted. Bags are subject to search.
- No re-entry is permitted for adults or students.
- Alcohol, vapes, drugs, and tobacco products are prohibited.
- No weapons, including pocket knives.
- Stadium and school officials reserve the right to ask anyone to vacate the stadium for violations of school or stadium rules.
Prohibited Items
The following items are not permitted inside the stadium:
- Wheeled devices, including skateboards, strollers, scooters, bicycles, hoverboards, and similar items
- Gum, food, sunflower seeds, or nuts on the track or turf
- Student backpacks
- Outside food or drinks
- Glass bottles
- Metal spikes
- Tobacco products and vapes
- Drugs or alcohol
- Firearms, knives, explosives, or weapons of any kind
- Drones; the stadium and school are drone-free airspace
- Pets
Bags are subject to search. The district asks all patrons to plan accordingly and leave prohibited items at home.
A Safer and More Enjoyable Game-Day Experience
The new procedures are designed to make arriving at, entering, and leaving Mansell Stadium more organized and predictable for students, families, visiting teams, and fans.
