The donation will provide classroom supplies and learning materials to help Juniata students learn, grow, and succeed throughout the school year. According to Principal Dr. Anzinger, teachers will use the funds for hands-on learning materials, literacy resources, organizational tools, and other items that support engaging classroom experiences and student learning. “Today is about much more than a check,” said Dr. Anzinger, Principal of Juniata Elementary. “It is about opportunity. It is about believing in our students, investing in their futures, and recognizing the important work happening every day in our classrooms.”
“At Juniata Elementary, we believe in the power of what we call the 3 Cs: being Caring, Careful, and Courageous,” Dr. Anzinger added. “This gift reflects all three and represents an investment in our students and their futures. Our teachers pour their hearts into creating classrooms where students feel safe, valued, challenged, and inspired, and this donation will help them continue that important work.”
The donation also reflects the DuBois Area School District's commitment to: Teaching today's learners to be tomorrow's leaders.
“We fully believe in investing in our students and helping them become tomorrow's leaders — courageous leaders,” Dr. Anzinger said. “We are incredibly grateful to Burlington and AdoptAClassroom.org for seeing our school, supporting our educators, and, most importantly, believing in our students. Your generosity will have an impact far beyond today, touching classrooms, inspiring learning, and helping our students build brighter futures. Partnerships like this demonstrate the power of a community coming together to support children and their success. Burlington and AdoptAClassroom.org have shown our students and teachers just how much they are valued — and as we say at Juniata, that truly #JuniataROCKS!”
As part of Burlington's commitment to giving back to the communities it serves, the company partners with AdoptAClassroom.org to provide funding for schools in the neighborhoods surrounding each new store. Through this partnership, Burlington helps equip classrooms with the supplies and resources students need while building stronger communities and brighter futures. The new DuBois Burlington, located in DuBois, PA, officially opened on Friday, August 14, offering incredible values on quality apparel, home goods, accessories, toys, and more for the entire family.
